Fertilizer Easy Green

Hello guys,I wonder when is the best time to pour into the aquarium fertilizer easy green before turning on the light or after turning on the light?

Thats a good question. I usually dose in the morning. I feel like once i turn on the light and the plants are in photosynthesis mode, they draw in more nutrients. I may be wrong, but thats my logic behind doing it that way vs dosing at night.

i dont believe it matters much. unlike carbon which imo should be added when the lights are on.

I dose every water change.  Not sure if optimal for plants, but optimal for me not forgetting to dose!

I have read you are supposed to avoid dosing in the 24hrs after a water change if using certain conditioners like Prime. Some conditioners are designed to remove heavy metals and certain minerals from your tap water, thereby reducing the effectiveness of the fertilizer if added while the conditioner is still actively working in your tank.
