Harpsandfish
I have a 20g planted tank with tetras, rasboras, honey gourami, a hillstream loach and cherry and Amano shrimp. The pH is consistently 7.4-7.6. Should I lower it? Would cattapa leaves be a good way to do that?
MAC
That's just fine for your fish. Keeping your parameters stable is much more beneficial than chasing a ph.
Harpsandfish
Thanks, @MAC I have been lucky that this tank, started in November, has been remarkably stable. I fell down the rabbit hole of TMI and the dark side of so much info being so easily available. I so appreciate this forum as a collective Voice of Reason. 😉
