starsman20
I have a male guppy that seems to develop a swim bladder issue every few months. Usually it causes him to simk and swim vertically. Right now hes floating. He swims to the bottom then floats right to the top. Ive moved him to quarentine this time. I'm assuming its swim bladder but i suppose he could be dieing but i would think that would cause a sink not a float. Thoughts or suggestions on what to try? Params are 0 0 less than 10. Stable tank. All other 20+ fish are fine.
Colu
Stop feeding for 5days and treat with aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons I would lower the water level in the tank so he can swim easyer swim bladder problem can because by a bacterial infection so you could try maracyn if salt does not work Edited February 9, 2021 by Colu
starsman20
Didn't feed for days., then hand fed a little. Treated with maracyn and aquarium salt. After this last bought he finally succumbed. RIP little one. You have left me hundreds off offspring to continue your line.
