Lifeisgood
I was hoping to go to a dark colored (black) substrate for my new fancy Goldfish tank to enhance their dark colors. I know crushed coral has been suggested to keep mineral content up in the water column for them. What about substrates suggested for Cichlids? Does anyone have other suggestions? OceanTruth
Caribsea makes a black aragonite sand substrate that would be good. Buffers and adds minerals to keep pH and water hardness hard. It's made for african cichlids I believe.
