FishySituation
I ordered some cherry shrimp recently for my 20 gallon and I drop in repashy soilent green in the tank to feed them, but the neon tetras find it and graze on it and the shrimp are too afraid to eat it. How can I feed them without this happening? In my other tanks I have to feed my corydoras at night to deal with this same sort of problem, but I’m not sure if shrimp will eat at night time
Platosdog
Shrimp will feed at night, what I do is feed the shrimp food after I feed some floating food, my fish stay at the top and this give the shrimp time to get the food on the bottom. Hope this helps!
FrozenFins
agree with @Platosdog distract the neon tetras with floating food as you feed the shrimp the sinking food.
