FrostiesFishes
Why does my iPhones photos load upside down and I don’t have an option to rotate it?
Streetwise
I review, slightly rotate, and crop all of my photos in the Photos app. I only get a strange orientation if I photograph from directly above. I hold my iPhone so that the lens is in the upper left-hand corner. I have the guides on for rule of thirds to help me line up vertical and/or horizontal elements in each shot. FrostiesFishes
I just wanna add photos but they always load in upside down. I shouldn’t have to rotate them in the photos app and re-save them to get them correct on this forum.
Hobbit
I’ve had this forum rotate my photos before, but for some reason it works fine now. I have no idea what fixed it.
Administrators Cory Posted January 13, 2021 Administrators Share Posted January 13, 2021 It's actually the fault of apple, they don't save the data in what orientation you took the picture. Therefore depending on how you hold your phone while taking it will matter. This isn't an issue with android, or anything that is edited as it has the correct data. FrostiesFishes
Well I guess I can just auto edit the photo and that should fix the issue. I’ll have to try it out. Thanks @Cory
