Termite wood for aquarium

I just saw this on reddit, it's a log eaten away by termites and it looks like it would be absolutely amazing for a shrimp tank and aquariums in general. I wonder if anyone has experience with this, especially with preparing it for the tank (sterilization and such) and if it is not as uncommon as I thought where I could obtain such a piece of wood.

I don't have a lot of experience with driftwood but for what I do know, you are at the very least going to want to soak the log to get the Tanis out and prevent your aquarium from becoming a big tea bath. If you have a pot big enough, you can boil it to quicken up the process. I wish I knew where to find a piece like what you have. Very unique!
