Craziiininja
Is one 48 inch fluval 3.0 enough for low to medium light on a 75 gallon or would i need two lights?
Doug_E
I have a 36" on my 40b and it is more light than I need. These things put out a huge amount of light. At 18" the 36" is 54 PAR. The 75 is not much deeper and the 48" will output more light.

Craziiininja
does anyone have only one 48 inch fluval 3.0 on a 75 gallon? Does it put out enough light for most low to med light plants? I'm NOT doing high light and co2 injection and all that just low to med light easy plants Edited January 3, 2021 by Craziiininja

He has a tank with plants and NO light for months (just room light). The low light plants are doing just fine.

Louise white
I have one on a 55g that is pretty deep and plants are doing well . You could start with just one for a couple weeks and see how you go then if you feel you need 2 get another one. Save you some $$ in case you don’t need it

Nanci B
Can you share how your tank is doing with this light? Anything you like or dislike? Would you buy it again? Thanks! Nanci
StevesFishTanks
I think you will be good with 1* 3.0 plant if you get the 48" model If your lighting needs increase you can always add another one later.
