FlyingFishKeeper
Hi everyone is there a human food that you give to your fish to celebrate? (Birthdays, holidays, etc...) I personally have given some thought to peas, sashimi, lettuce, and shrimp. Happy New Year! Edited January 1, 2021 by FlyingFishKeeper
lefty o
not to celebrate, but when not having fry food, i have boiled eggs, and given the fish small pinches of boiled egg yolk.
Brian P
I feed my mollies and pleco green beans about every other day or so. The snails love them too. French cut only per @Cory ha ha.
Fonske
Not really celebratory, but I feed blanched carrots and zucchinis. Meant for the snails, really, but fishes like to snack on the veggies too. Also, hard boiled egg yolk for fry.
Sharon- fishandfloral
Lettuce, peas, cucumber, green beans and zucchini are part of the regular diet for my tanks with herbivores/omnivores.
Tanked
More for my amusement than celebration. The barbs seem to have more personality than any of the others. They tolerate my intrusion into their world. and they seem to realize that maintenance is followed by rewards In their order of preference the barbs go for: cucumber, baby spinach, peas, broccoli florets
