Quarantine Trio and scaleless fish

I have decided to preventatively administer the Aquarium Coop's Quarantine Trio to my Kuhli loaches before releasing them to my community tank. They're showing no signs of active infection.

I keep seeing recommendations to use half doses when giving meds to scaleless fish. Is that correct? If so, do I give out twice as many doses over twice the recommended amount of time, or should I just stick with the same schedule as for other fish?

I would only treat kuhli loach for parasites as the majority are wild caught use half dose

With the med trio you treat any problems first. If you see signs of an illness treat that illness by itself before safeguarding with the trio.

If your intention is to follow Cory's advice, use the full med trio dose even for scaleless fish. Recently covered in a livestream starting at 25:23:

How does one "see how they go" when there are no symptoms? Is the idea to do a full dose after seeing no harm from the half dose?
