I have a 10 gallon planted rimless Betta tank and am currently running Fluval double sponge filter in it. I also have a 5 gallon with Aquarium Coop nano sponge filter in it. I love the filter so much I ordered a small Coop sponge filter and want to get rid of the double fluvial sponge. Can I remove it and add the new filter without crashing my tank? Please advise as how to switch over

Thanks

with plants, and im guessing some sort of substrate, you will have enough beneficial bacteria just to swap it out. im sure others will also say you need to put it in the tank with the other one for a few weeks too.
