I’ve heard it kills off beneficial bacteria, but that shouldn’t be an issue if used in a large quarantine tank. Im considering it to see if it works on bettas with dropsy. H.K.Luterman Posted December 27, 2020 Share Posted December 27, 2020 (edited) Just a word of caution, when using the two antibacterial meds together; I accidentally nuked my hornwort and almost killed my bolbitis fern (lost a whole year's worth of growth on it, I was so bummed!).
