My lights aren’t bright enough for growth but not so dim that they should die. I’m going to be buying a new lid and light solution very soon. lefty o Posted December 24, 2020 Share Posted December 24, 2020 spots on java fern are fairly normal. the ferns would also likely do better attached to wood or rock with their roots completely out of the substrate. with plants, if they are green and look healthy, they usually are. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Alesha Posted December 26, 2020 Share Posted December 26, 2020 They look like they are still firmly rooted into the substrate. I think I'd just leave them.
