TimeTraveler
They definitely are prolific I separated them we will see how many babies they can have without the male fish. I read that they can store the sperm so I’m not sure how many more fry to plan for.

TimeTraveler
Well there are no more fry 😞 I took the female out of the breeder days ago and the fry were growing out in the breeder. I came down today and one of the females managed to jump in and she ate all the fry last night.... Lesson learned I need a breeder with a lid it looks like. lefty o
on the bright side, give or take 30 days, you'll have more fry to do it all over again.
TimeTraveler
I’m glad in a way I’m learning with guppy fry though I do feel bad for them. If it was apistograma fry I would Not be happy. (Someday I want apistograma caucatoidies) I guess the guppies are a good beginner fish to learn how to breed. Hobbit
It happens. That’s what would happen to most of them in nature too. But it’s still a bummer. Better luck next time—it’s definitely a learning experience!
