wendypizza
Pakige today......packed excellently as usual! Assuming I get a little cash for Christmas, I'm sure I'll be buying again before the new year. I'm holding off posting reviews because I'd like to wait a few days to see how the plants and sponge filter do, especially to compare the coarse sponge with the pictured sponge, which was cleaned out on Saturday. Floating the baby tears because leaves decided to grow instead of roots. The paper goes into the cat's boxes for padding. Includes the pink flamingo (which, pre-melt, is the biggest crypt in my tank)
Dawn T
Nice! I've been waiting for a box from AC that's already 3 days late. I was supposed to arrive Monday. If it was just dry goods, I wouldn't be worried. Holiday delays, no doubt. But this box contains plants and it was shipped out on the 17th. REALLY hoping the plants make it alive. Here's hoping mine make it in as good a shape as yours! 🙂

I piggybacked off a neighbor's order last week; it was scheduled to arrive on Wednesday but didn't arrive till Saturday. With the caveat that I live in a very temperate climate and pretty well-suited to a plant living in a box for a few days at the post office, the plant was still in good condition. Of course, it ended up in a tank where the lights went off for a week due to deworming meds...such is life. You can hang on for a couple more days, moneywort! Also, this particular order came in a day or two earlier than usual. Good luck with your own order 😄
Dawn T
Thanks. The USPS held it at their Tucson facility for 50 hours straight (during the work week, mind you). They finally forwarded it on this morning, so hopefully it makes it to my local PO in time to be delivered today. All of that was after it spent 2 days in Seattle because of the weekend. I'm really anxious to see if the plants make it. Poor things. In the dark for a week. 😬

Dawn T
My order made it! The Monte Carlo and Pogostemon octopus look great. The Bacopa caroliniana had a few leaves that had started to turn to sludge, but the stems and remaining leaves seem healthy and firm. I dropped all three pots into one of my tanks to let them settle and make sure they're good to go before I free them from pots and plant them.

Brian P
I ordered a 30inch light from AC on dec 8th and it is still stuck somewhere between Washington and Oklahoma. USPS stopped giving updates on dec 12th. I assume it will arrive sometime, just no idea when. Not the Co-Op’s fault at all. Glad it did not have any plants in the order. Streetwise
Fourteen plants later, staged in my utility tanks and buckets, with my cuttings. The yellow leaves are mine, getting a second chance. I like trying to get the new plants wet and aerated. Andy's Fish Den
Usually get my packages from the coop in two days, this time it took a week, but plants and everything was no worse for the wear. I love the insulated bag that they put plants in to protect, I am putting it in the styro I keep in my car so when I buy frozen foods at the LFS I can put in to keep frozen.

H.K.Luterman
For my birthday, my hubby gifted me a shopping spree online at the Co-Op! Even though my birthday isn't until next week, I wanted to order now since everything I wanted was in stock. It was a BIG box, so I had my helper carry it in for me. He was just as excited as I was, so he dove right in! So much good stuff! I can't wait to try out the new algae scraper and the test strips! And one of my favorite stickers was included! The plants had a long journey to Alabama, but I'm sure with some TLC they'll do great! Oh no! Don't eat the water sprite! You're a meatysaurus, not a veggiesaurus! Oh no, I reminded him! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! 1
Mitch_ScruffyCityAquatics
@H.K.Luterman you are going to LOVE the algae scrubber. I recently bought one and it is night and day better than what I had been doing.
