KatieC67
Is this fungal? Bought 7 otos last month and am on 2nd round of paracleanse. Down to 3 now, no deaths in 2 weeks. A couple of days ago, I noticed this fuzz on dorsal fin of one of them. Guppies and other otos in QT with it are OK. pH 8.0, ammonia and nitrites 0, nitrate <10, temp is 76. We have somewhat hard water. Tank has sand, live plants, cholla and ghost wood. Sponge filter. Thanks in advance. KatieC67
Thank you. I did a good vac and water change (due for it today after Paracleanse tx). Started Maracyn and Ich-X. Hoping the three I have left will make it. Hope to get more once these are moved to main tank with my corydoras. Trying to build a school of 6 or 7 otos. KatieC67
LOL! A few hours after I did the water change and a thorough vac, I discovered I still have 4 otos instead of 3! Hours of inspecting the tank every day and hadn't seen more than 3 at once for the last 2 weeks. Yay!
