Pet Safe Air Fresheners/Odor Neutralizers?

Is there an air freshener or odor neutralizer that is pet safe? I'm looking for something that's safe for fish, dogs, and cats. It doesn't have to be scented but I don't mind if it is.

My girlfriend loves those scented wall plugs. The kinds with the small glass jar refills. We have, or have had, several major brands and haven’t had any issues. The tanks, our dog, and my cat when he was still with us never had any issues. 
 

We also have a humidifier that she’ll put essential oils in and we’ve never had an issue with that, either.

I use a regular air freshener with the room my tanks are in. I just make sure not to spray directly in the direction of the tanks. All of my aquariums have tight fitting lids on them, so I'm not too worried about anything entering the tanks.
