Maximus Posted November 10 Posted November 10 I have a small trick I wanted to share that I do with some spawning mops, usually ones I have for breeding corys. I use this so that it won't blow around in the tank current with the power head pointed at it. Make the mop as normal, but add a small ~1" piece of airline tubing that you can use to attach it to suction cups. This is nice because it lets you anchor the mop to a tank wall, and allows it to be easily removed to pick it over or pop it into a jar with methylene blue. 5 3 2
xXInkedPhoenixX Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Yet another great idea for airline and suction cups! I've used a similar method to attach plants along the back wall of tanks. It works! 3
HerdyGerdy Posted November 13 Posted November 13 I like it! I've also been using a suction cup but I've just been looping some strands of yarn over the clip on the suction cup. Your way is much mores sturdy, I'm gonna have to give this a try next time I make a mop. 1
