reefhugger Posted November 8 Posted November 8 One of my 20 gallon tanks is blessed with a large hatching of mystery snails. It is a mature tank, has a light coating of algae on the sides and back, and a good variety of plants. I just wonder if I need to add something like repashy powder to the water? I feed the fish repashy food but they don't leave any pickings. Any advice warmly welcome. I love mystery snails and want them to thrive.

They will grow off of the bio film, but if you’ve got enough, supplemental feeding will be required. Sinking wafers of any kind would work well or even salt free canned green beans, blanched zucchini, blanched spinach, etc.
reefhugger Posted November 8 Author Posted November 8 @DallasCowboys16 The vegetables are a good idea. I can maybe rig up something to keep them up on the glass so the tiny creatures can get to it easily. Thanks for the suggestion.
