FLFishChik Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Where are the FL Peeps? ! As my FLFishChick username implies, I’m a FL resident since birth. I’m currently in Central FL - Flagler County. Eager to chat with others in my state!
ArthurLK11 Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Broward County over here. Looks like we're all over. 1
FLFishChik Posted November 2 Author Posted November 2 What fish is ervberyone currently keeping? I currently have: 29g Cardinal Tetra, Ember Tetra, Albino Cory and Otos 75g with Congo Tetra, Lemon Tetra, Rummynose Rasbora, Peppered Cory, Kuhli Loaches, Otos, a Blue-eyed Longfin Lemon Pleco and Amano Shrimp. 10g Glofish tank (currently in husbands mancave, but it it getting ready for a redo to deal with an infestation of Ramshorn snails)
Littlefish Posted November 2 Posted November 2 That 29g sounds ideal. Cardinals have always been in my plans, but never purchased. That 75g could be fire with a large school of well-lit congos. Currently just raising bb endlers in an outdoor unfiltered 75g with duckweed for credit at the lfs. Also a 10g reeftank w a percola clown, but that doesn't count 😉 I've been considering transitioning half the endlers to full saltwater, but there is so, so much to get done. And redtide, so no free sw.

Also have a large school of 16 lemon tetra. only 6 Rummynosde Rasbora... tho they are few, the visual impact of that bright red nose and blue body is stunning. Ive always wanted to get into saltwater tanks, but its the cost of the initial setups that deters me, lol 1
Lynaea Posted November 2 Posted November 2 I only have Neo shrimp at the moment, though I’m hoping to add 2 honey gourami and a few wcmm soon. I’ve kept congos in the past, they are gorgeous! Do you have a journal? 1
ArthurLK11 Posted November 3 Posted November 3 I'm pretty new, just got back into the hobby after about 15 years. I just added fish into my aquarium today. I have a Florida native 10g aquarium. Here's the link to my journal: 1
