JMC Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) I look forward to feeding this to my fish. Would the Easy Fry bottle work to feed this food? What is the main difference between this food and Easy Fry food? Sorry if the video answers these questions. I haven’t watched it yet. Edited October 31 by JMC 1
pictish Aquatics Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Looks amazing hopefully it will become available in scotland in the future 1

Main difference is the time it stays middle of the water. Basically the magic part.
Steele Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Is there a size difference in the granules compared to easy fry food? Or are they about the same size?

GoofyGarra Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Excited for the new stuff! I just ordered the Hikari FD worms so I should've waited, but I definitely need to get myself some of the new airstones 1

Ours are modular, green. Weighted. No felt discs, more coarse bubbles than the Zia’s but should be able to go much longer between servicing.
TOtrees Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) The new magic nano looks a lot like Go***n P**rls, is that what you're replicating? A gel or agar encapsulated food? Would you care to share or estimate a micron size, if known? Edited October 31 by TOtrees
Riiz Posted October 31 Posted October 31 So that container finally left the port of LA, lol? I'm glad I procrastinated, I needed a few more battery air pumps and you even launched new air-stones and food. Its like you read my dream journal or something. 2
AllFishNoBrakes Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Ah, yes, the master of getting me to place more orders, lmaooooo. Placed an order just the other day as I needed dechlorinator and Easy Green. Looked through every section trying to bump up to that free shipping threshold. Couldn’t find anything else I couldn’t live without, so I bit the bullet and paid for shipping. And now the magic nano is out. Gotta love my luck, lol. I’ll definitely be picking this up on the NEXT order I place. Maybe I’ll get my 3 year membership coin alongside it 🤔 2

That was an amazing food 15 years ago when the primary ingredient was brine shrimp. The much cheaper ingredient version that exists now I can barely get fish to eat. Like 2 years ago we tried to see if we could have a quality version of that made but no one was making it. Every supplier only had the bad version. As for replicating golden pearls - kind of. We were actually just looking for new formulas for our fry food when we found this. Noticed it was neutrally boyant as well which is a plus. All that really mattered to me was that the fish loved it. That’s always the first test. Then I noticed the magic boyancy part of it and then we inquired about price. What other sizes etc. Magic nano feed is similar to 250 micron food, but we are seeing if they have a spec sheet for size for it. We also are launching this formula in a community floating pellet size. From the feel of the food, I was actually convinced it was decapsulates brine shrimp at first because it feels so uniform and just like it. But it was loved by fish much more than recap brine. 3 minutes ago, AllFishNoBrakes said: Ah, yes, the master of getting me to place more orders, lmaooooo. It's my third order in the past week or so I think? Hahah. Oops. 1
PonyPlantedTanks Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Exciting times! I can’t wait to try the Magic Nano. But I also still haven’t tried Easy Fry bc my LFS was out last time I went in. Guess the only solution is both💸
MWilk Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Do you think the oil from the sardines is why it has the bouyancy it does? It looks amazing. Maybe I could try CPD’s in my cherry shrimp tank again with this.

Not sure if it’s the way it’s made vs specifically making it do that or just ingredients.
Creedmoor Aquatics Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Awesome! I've been checking the online shop for months hoping for this! Any thoughts on how much to feed? (One of the details I think is covered least in our community!) Like, if I know what size spoon I use to measure out baby brine shrimp eggs for my hatchery, would you feed more or less of the Magic Nano Feed? 1
Justnotrook Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I’ll need…. 1000 bottles But when I do order I’ll make sure to get a bottle.
