porcnick
I've been doing a lot of 3D modeling and design recently, and I also have had several cloudy tanks in my fish room. I decided to set up some water polishers. The coop power heads have an intake that has an outer diameter of 25mm, which is bigger than a soda bottle, making it difficult to attach a cutoff bottle full of filter floss without using something like duct tape. So... i found a model for a soda bottle cap, modified it with an open tube on top with an inner diameter of 25mm and it worked like a charm 4
Fish Folk
Always fun when you are able to build your own solutions. 3D printing for Aquariums is a blast. I have a friend who makes a lot of stuff, and shares with me. So cool!

Riiz
Put them up for sale on Etsy, I buy a lot of 3d-printed aquarium tools there. There are a bunch of Aquarium co-op specialty parts there and they sell well.
bryanisag
Can you explain how this filter works to polish water? Is it fitted to the suction or the discharge side of the power head? Does the bottle have holes in it?
Riiz
It is connected to the suction side of the powerhead and draws a large volume of water through the filter floss per hour.
