TheresaM Posted October 30 Posted October 30 (edited) Looking for suggestions please 🙂 Tank #1: 15g; kuhlis, cherry shrimp, honey gourami After a few weeks in the tank the gourami is still quite shy and usually hiding. This is my first time keeping a honey, would she do better with another gourami or two?  Tank #2: 20 long; clown killies, pygmy cories, amano shrimp Looking for a mid-dwelling fish of similar size. Could be schooling, centerpiece, trio, etc but the key is peaceful. Edited October 30 by TheresaM

Or at the very least some other swimming tank mates would bring her out more. This all depends on the size of the tank of course. If it's large enough, a trio would be the best option as they tend to be a social species. Or small dithers would work

They don't swim fast, and they use the whole space to explore in. Just keep a close eye on parameters so the nitrates don't get away from you. Or, you could add something like 8 green neons. That should bring her out more 1

Schuyler Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Maybe you could do a sparkling gourami or two in the 20 long. Or a honey gourami. 1
