Retrophyllum_minus
Any thoughts on tank mates for Poecilia gillii aka Gill's Molly?
Guppysnail
What tank size? How many do you have? Planted?
Colu
Water parameters would also determine what tank mates you could have as well as tank size as @Guppysnailmention

Heavily planted. pH hovering around 7.4. Harder water. Some snails already existing in the tank happily.
Guppysnail
Me personally…I would let them be a species only tank. Lots of floaters and some bushy ground spaces. I would delight in simply allowing them to make babies. Net out and Hang in a breeding net until babies are big enough to not get eaten. Most of my tanks are species only plus shrimp and snails. I find I really enjoy learning every nuance and seeing them breed and babies. Half of my tanks are also 20 long most containing a single pair of fish sometimes a small group of 6. To much emphasis is put on how many types we can fit in a tank and not on the sheer beauty of each as individuals. But that’s just me! If a community is what you want DO IT 🥳 at 7.4 you can do most danio species.

And no other species to eat the babies. If I go this route I will have two males and four females. I could add a few shrimp to the already existing snails (there's only a handful in there) and leave it at that. Might be fun to give it a try at actually breeding them.

Breeding and raising babies is my passion. It’s so rewarding and life affirming to see babies. It’s the seal of approval from the fish that I got it right.

Yeah I've been thinking about it and I think I will just do a neocaridina shrimp colony, snails that are naturally occurring already, and the Gill's Mollies. We'll see what happens.
