Andy R
I'm planning on setting up a 55g planted tank for odessa and long fin rosy barbs. Temp will be around 70f (room temp) 8.0 ph. Would 8-10 of each be suitable? I would also be interested in ideas for tank mates. I am currently looking at zebra danios, WCMM and hillstream loaches. I have considered a dojo loach but I have heard they can eat plants. Would be interested in your opinions of stocking and temperature.
Nataku
I've had five dojo loaches for about six years now in a 65 gallon planted tank with various vals, amazon swords, java fern, anubias, guppy grass and dwarf salvinia. So far the loaches have been fine with all of those plants. The most 'damage' they do is knock the java fern loose on occassion when they try to sit on them/the driftwood they're attached to. They don't eat any of the plants though.
