Ammonia in QT tank while treating with maracyn

I’ve got a 10 gallon quarantine for an angelfish set up right now with maracyn. I’ve got some ammonia showing up, about .5-1ppm. I’m on day two of dosing, and I’m not supposed to water change. I’m not feeding in the qt. Should I just add some prime to neutralize it while we get through the five days, or change water and re dose? Thank you.

I would change and redose. Adding prime can help but a wc could be huge if ammonia all the way  close to 1 @redmare

Thanks, I’ll do that. Do you know how much I should put back in?

Of maracyn? Prob where you left off actually normal dose. @redmare.

So I did first dose yesterday am and second today am- if I change water now I’ll just continue with dose 3 tomorrow am without adding more now? Sorry I have very very little with real meds since I’m in Canada!
