Marlin McKerel
Bought these as panda/melon barbs but after releasing them in my aquarium, they looked nothing like the ones I have. Googled them and looked like clown barbs. I feel a little stupid because I have some already, but thought they were just pale at the shop, and would color up in the aquarium. Can someone confirm them please? They were sold as melon barbs. Took them back and the owner was adamant they were melon barbs purely because they bought them as melon barbs and their supplier don't stock clown barbs. Surely mistakes happen sometimes. they look similar to melon barbs in the pic of them in the jug before release, but other than that I'm not convinced Can someone help out please? Many thanks 😊
Biotope Biologist
Yeah those are kinda picture perfect clown barbs. I don’t blame the supplier it can be confusing if they house similar species id return them since your hope was to get some same species
