Carbon to remove medication

Recommended Posts

Got a few questions to do with carbon and removing meds.

1. How long will it take for the carbon to suck out all the meds after adding it to the water?

2. If I bought the lift tube of my sponge filter very close to the top of the tank and let the carbon float just above it, would it be enough flow for the carbon to work and draw the meds out?

Different carbon will absorb At different rates with something you can’t see you will never know for sure but as long as there’s some water moving through it it will work i would do small bags and change them every few days for a couple weeks if you really want to make sure

Yeah there should be a decent amount of water moving through it, thanks
