Hello fellow aquarists!

I noticed this starting to appear in my tank lately, a translucent white stuff floating around. When I try to taken it in my hand to examine it, it dissolves. Anyone know what this might be? Never came across it before. My fish has fin rot, which I am beginning to treat with Marycan and Maracyn 2 today in a hospital tank. Thanks!

That looks like part of a root tab capsule. Do you use root tabs?

Thank you. I am using the Co-Op plant fertilizer capsule with the Co-Op new plants that I planted yesterday morning. But this white floater issue has been going on for a few weeks at least and I have not used any root tabs, capsules or any other plant fertilizer beyond yesterday. I do have an internal UV Green Machine Killer in the tank but not sure if that is a contributing factor.
