Ive got a 20 gal long tank set up with a few cories and guppies. Trying to decided which to get that would work better when it comes to filtration. Ive always used hob filters but never the interal filters that aqueon sells. Anyone have any experience with them? Pros and cons? Preferences?

Pros hob easier to maintain.

Con won't purge if water level is too low after a power outage.

Pros Internal will operate properly at even lower water levels.

Con just taking out of the aquarium to maintain for me.
