Jennibird
So I have a 5 gallon planted tank with a betta, 4 neocaridina shrimp, and 1 nerite snail. The shimp and nerite don't seem to be able to keep up with the algae. Would it be to much bioload to add say a mystery snail? Fonske
Should not be an issue. Snails are light in terms of bioload. Yet depending on the type of the algae you are fighting a snail might not be very helpful.
Jennibird
Yeah, it's just your good old fashioned green algae
FrozenFins
yeah, I would go for it. One more nerit snail wouldn't hurt. The nirites should be able to take care of the green algae
