a date with nature
Just noticed today is it ick? The tank has a power head providing medium flow. Temp is around 75f. Nitrates 0 nitrites 0 ammonia 0 Buffer300 Hardness around 400 P.H. between 7.2 and 7.6 Yes my water is very hard, i have never had a problem with it, i have rams in water that is slightly harder right now. The tank has wood in it if that matters.
MattyM
Was there supposed to be a picture? Are you sure the tank is cycled? I just ask b/c of the zero nitrates.
Colu
Can you post a picture of the fish it will help with a diagnosis he's how you can tell if your dealing with ich or epistylis if it's ich I would treat with ick X and a small amount of aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 5 gallons as ich causes massive electrolyte loss and the salt will add back in essential electrolytes
a date with nature
Ya there was supposed to be a pic. Hopefully it works this time. Quality isn't the best cause they are so skidish but if need be i can get a better one.
Colu
It's looks more like a bacterial infection or an injury with white patch I can't see spots but picture quality isn't the best he's a picture of a fish with ich for comparison if it's just the white patch I would do a course of kanaplex it's a broad spectrum antibiotic treatment @a date with nature
