Flipnorp
Hello, I was thinking of getting CPO crayfish, but then saw that they are illegal in California. But when I checked some other forums they said that they were selling them at a LFS, and fish and wildlife said it was legal. I then checked the documents talking about illegal and legal exotic pets in California and it said that they were banned. So I checked a website that sold them and that said that vanilla lobsters were illegal in certain places and they couldn’t ship them there, so I thought that they would say CPOs are illegal in california. But, when I checked the CPOs it said nothing about them being banned in California. Please help me, I am very confused.
Ninjoma
It looks like they are restricted, so you would need a permit to posses them legally. https://wildlife.ca.gov/Licensing/Restricted-Species
