DoTheNeedful
Hey everyone, I did a water change two days ago and last night I noticed the eyes on my Apisto are now bulging. When doing a water change I use a python and when I was adding water back into the tank I forgot to turn on the shutoff, so when I released it it filled the tank with a bunch of air bubbles. Could this have caused his eyes to bulge out? I feel horrible if so... is this something that he will recover from? Colu
Usually when it's affecting both eyes it's caused by a bacterial infections it can also be caused by a growth behind the eye less likely to be an injury with both eyes affected I would quarantine if you can and treat with aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons that will help reduce the swelling in the eyes and do a course of kanaplex @DoTheNeedful
DoTheNeedful
@Colu Thank you for the response. I just purchased both and will try this. He is the only fish in the tank so no worries there.
