rdaled
Looking to order a Fluval Plant 3.0 light for my Innovations Marine Nuvo Fusion 20. It is a rimless tank that is 23-1/2" wide rim-to-rim. I'd like to go with the 24" light to get better coverage, but I'm thinking the 15" may fit better. Anyone have exact dimensions on these two lights, or any input? Thanks
Streetwise
You might be able to fit the 24" unit. You should also consider a pair of Fluval Plant Nanos, since you have a rimless tank. (Old photo)
KBOzzie59
I have the 24". This is the shortest it will go, looks like it would be a comfortable fit. And I do not doubt it will span the advertised 34" if ever needed. This one. PLANT SPECTRUM LED 14521 24 - 34"

The 24" should fit perfectly and cover the entire tank. Now, I wonder if there will be a black Friday or cyber Monday sale???
varanidguy
All of the Fluval 3.0 lights, except the Nano of course, are actually a bit undersized. Going with the 24" would work for you.

Nomnomseoulja
Just now, Alex parker Hey all I am doing my first ever planted aquarium and really want a flu Val 3.0 for my 20 gallon long that is 30inches. What size do I need to get? 15,24,36? Thanks for all the help! I have the 24-34” size for my 20 long. It’s going to be the only one that fits that dimensions however you only get 18” of usable light. with the total light box being 22”
rdaled
Received my light today, what a drastic improvement!!! Currently only running it at 25%, wanted to acclimate the plants slowly and try to limit excess algae growth. I have a feeling this light will greatly improve my overall plant health. Plus it looks great on the tank!
