elsid84
It appears to me that my nerite snails decided to lay eggs on one of my potted plants. Anyone have thoughts on these?
Guppysnail
You have a happy nerite. They can not hatch and survive in freshwater. They need salt/ brackish conditions for that. Eventually they dissolve unless your water is very hard. You can scrape them off if you like.
elsid84
Was thinking that I could try to setup a bin with some brackish water and see if I can make it happen. I was hoping someone may have tried it.
Guppysnail
I know a few who have but have not heard of anyone successful with them. They need slow transition when larval. Good luck.
elsid84
I’ll give it a shot and see. I’ll post here if I make it work. Thanks!
