Jacob Hill-Legion Aquatics
I just put some Fritz Para Cleanse in my cichlid tank to help with a couple fish that were showing signs of internal parasites but then the next day it looks all foggy and I think a bunch of bacteria died off. Is this something to worry about? Should I just leave the tank alone or could this harm my fish?
Lennie
What are your Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate readings? That should tell about the cycle Fritz Para Cleanse claims that it won't cloud or discolor your tank in their official site, however, they mention that it may inhibit nitrifying bacteria. Yes, it sounds interesting.
Pepere
I get this every time I marinate new fish in med trio. check out pics in link below, 24 hours after dosing tAnk with meds, and another 24 hours after putting spare cycled sponges from a display tank in… For the record I Always run complete parameter test when I see it foggy and it is never off… no ammonia or nitrites. Galabar
Test for ammonia and nitrite.
AllFishNoBrakes
Probably from the meds. Test ammonia and nitrite and as long as those are good follow the instructions for what you’re treating for.
Jacob Hill-Legion Aquatics
@AllFishNoBrakes@Galabar I just tested and my ammonia and nitrite are at 0 and low nitrates
AllFishNoBrakes
I wouldn’t do anything but follow the directions on the box of meds. Meds tend to make my water cloudy.
