How to slow down pump flow on Fluval Flex 15g

Hi y'all I have a Fluval Flex 15 and am planning to put a betta in there. The pump seems too strong, any ideas how to slow it down?

I had to put two pre filter sponges over each of the output nozzles. I no longer keep a betta in my Flex 9.

There's some baffles you can get on Etsy as well as things to split the output flow.

I bought this on Etsy:. It pours towards the wall and you can angle it all kinds of ways. I have a flex 15 with shrimp and fish that need low flow.

If you restrict flow from the pump, just make sure it's on the output side of the pump, or you'll burn it out.
