a date with nature
so i know that it is a terrible idea usually to keep multiple male bettas together. But lets say i really want to do it. would it be viable to have two or possibly three in a large tank? like a 40 breeder? it will be scaped with tons of plants and many line-of-sight blockers. mynameisnobody
Hypothetically, even if it was a 125 gallon tank. It may take a bit for them to find each other. But once they do, it’s on. This is doomed to fail. Animal instincts supersede what we want.
Chick-In-Of-TheSea
Yeah once they see each other one time, each will fixate on the other and if they don't die from violence, they will most likely die from stress. Even people with the female betta sorority tanks have issues. Some get it to work, some don't, and then there are folks that get it to work well for awhile, and it seems like everything is cool, then one day it just becomes murdertown.
