Easy Carbon effect on Java moss and Vallisneria and Anachris.

i was going to order easy carbon to control the algae growth as a precautionary measure, but i have plants link java moss, Vallisneria and Anachris. if i apply easy carbon on 55 gallon and 40 gallon tank will it be suicidal to the plants. 

any experiences with same kind of plants.. please advice

I used it in a tank with Italian val and the val melted back, but didn't die, and is growing back now that I have stopped using easy carbon. I have not used it in any tanks with Java moss or anacharis so I can't help you with those plants

@Andy's Fish Den thanks. i am going to hold off as i have lot these plants in my tank and dont want to burn them down. 

are there any alternatives

I use it and my anacharis grows fine.  My val is a couple months old and has shown absolutely no growth until about a week ago, I think it's finally starting to adjust.  I've never had success with java moss.

I didn't have problem with easy carbo and moss but vallisneria could melt.

You need to try to know for sure😁

my java moss completely died so I have throw away the mosses and get fresh mosses as i have fries which needs protection.
