Galabar
For a while, I only had a 40 gallon on the second floor, with the sink in the utility room on the first. I used buckets, mixed water (including Prime and minerals), and carry things around. Recently, I've significantly increased the tank count. I switched to using a 50 foot hose and just draining the tanks and then filling from the sink (adding prime and minerals directly to the tank). It feels like I was living in a house with 4 foot ceilings and never realizing that people had higher ceilings. 🙂 Never going back. 🙂
PineSong
Ah, I remember the days of water changing my 55 with piggie goldfish in it, all with 5 gallon buckets on a floor where none of the faucets would work with a hose. I can't call them happy memories. You're living the dream.
madmark285
My tanks are on the third floor. Before I even bought the tanks, I connected to my house water supply. No 5 gallon bucket for me.
