I’ve never kept panda loaches. Rainbow Shiners are easy. No heater. Add air and flow. They take flakes fine. 2
mynameisnobody
I have a school of rainbow shiners and they move around a lot and fast. Personally I wouldn’t keep them in anything less than a 36” tank.
WhitecloudDynasty
I have kept both together before and I recommend a bigger school of shiner. They seem to act up when the school is too small.
Cinnebuns
3 is a scary low number of fish for a schooling species. They tend to not do as well in low numbers. If you are looking for something for a 10 gallon I might suggest trying chili rasboras.

Think he took them home for him self . I might get rid of my tetras and possibly get a school of six rainbows . I have a ten g and have reduced my fish load .Took out most my plants to get a fix on nitrates , as I am going to redo my tank quite differently than what it was . So the rainbows look good . Not sure about the pandas , don't want to load up the tank again .
