JChristophersAdventures
Back in 1990, when I started keeping larger aquariums (which for me means 55 gallon ones) I bought my first Python water changing system. It was amazing and built to last! But that was a long time ago and I just returned to the aquarium hobby over the last couple of months (2 1/2 decades later). So, is Python still the best? There are a lot of "knock-offs" now... most at lower prices... but is cheaper really any good? Thanks.
Goosedub
Python is still the best. I haven’t used the knock offs honestly, but the python hose quality and connections are awesome.
Vicki
Welcome back! I’m an expert with my 20 gallon tank, but know nothing about the hobby in general. I’ve recently purchased a 55 gallon nightmare tank and am finally getting things to the point where I can offer tiny bits of advice on something. THIS is one thing I can offer … I JUST received my Python in the mail yesterday and used it today. I don’t know if it’s changed over the years, but I can’t imagine anything being better than what I used today.
JChristophersAdventures
@Goosedub Yes, it is! 😄 @Vicki Right! And, I can attest to the fact that, while they have added optional items over the years, the base Python appears to be completely as awesome as ever! Thanks.
