Louise02
Can ADF live in an aquarium with crushed coral and cholla wood or is their skin to thin and sensitive?
Guppysnail
I’m not certain if their skin is to thin. However with the way they launch at food their mouth hits the substrate. I’m not certain if over time this would cause irritation or cuts but if it were me I would not. Also with the way they eat they do not really forage and a lot of food would be lost in the cracks between the larger pieces. I used Carib sea jungle river sand. The grains are large enough to vacuum like gravel but small enough to make a somewhat smooth surface for them to hunt on. Here is a feeding video of my frogs. You can see their launch behavior and they “hunt” to help you gauge if you want to take the chance with CC.
