Pepere
I keep 2 tanks so I have a full one on hand to swap out. I bought a refill 2 weeks ago and put it in spare room. I installed it yesterday morning as tank was low, and it was completely empty. I returned it to the shop and their response was “tough luck bub”. and they are the only company around… $35.00 spent, the only thing I got out of it was aggravation…
MattyM
Yikes - did it feel full when you got it? On 5 pounders I can definitely tell a weight difference between empty and full.
Pepere
Who knows. I usually get aluminum tanks. This one was a steel tank. I will be weighing them the second I get them home from now on… and removing the shrinkwrap from the valvestem and spraying bubble solution on the stem and outlet. They are only open weekdays 7:30 to 5:00 and the only time I can get there is Friday afternoons. Hence why I keep a spare on hand…
