Prickly Magoo
I got a thing of java moss on that wire sheet to attach to a piece of manzanita wood. I was wondering if i can cut that metal sheet in half without damaging the moss so i can add the java moss to 2 different spots on the manzanita wood? Mmiller2001
Each strand of moss is capable of producing more moss.

Pepere
You can also take the moss off of the mesh. Typically it is just held down with fine thread.

The moss should be tied with some string on the mesh. Depending on how you plan to attach that moss to the wood is a bit of a key factor here. If you want to glue that moss or tie it, maybe there is a method for you to find the end of the thread and detach it from the mesh.
Peaceful Fish
I just pull a little Java moss off and superglue it to another rock or piece of wood. Even a little bit will start spreading and growing quickly.
