TheMosster
when i suspect a fish might be sick but am not sure, the first thing i do is watch its behaviours. Sick fish will act differently (not as active, more shy, stop eating, etc...) while healthy fish will be acting normal. While this method isnt always reliable, for many desieses it has served me well. You could also try a mild salt dose (https://www.aquariumcoop.com/blogs/aquarium/aquarium-salt-for-sick-fish?_pos=4&_sid=4c8cde96a&_ss=r level 1 as adressed in the article) that would help if there was something there, but wouldnt hurt the fish or the tank as it appears there are no plants.
