DiscusLover
Hey guys so I was planning to start a discus tank again after selling my old ones off months ago and missing them. So I was thinking of doing either a 75 or a 100 based on the space I have, and I wanted to have it planted as well. But I am conflicted on what color I want the discus to be. I was either choosing 8 red melon discus, or 8 blue diamond discus, or doing 4 blue and 4 red. What do you guys think?
Andy's Fish Den
Personally, I like an assortment of colors, unless they are wilds, then all the same strain. I have a 75 gallon discus tank, with six fish in it, and there are five different color strains. I am on the hunt for one more discus to add to it, and it will be different than any of the others that are already in the tank.

nabokovfan87
What kind of scape do you have planned? What type of hardscape would work best with either color options? Here is a really cool one, There are videos in this tank, similar scape with different color discus. Here is a minimalist design, focuses the viewer really well on just the discus.
