Shrimpee
I've gotten a small Hydra outbreak in my 20 gal long which I don't like because I have a berried shrimp with really good genetics. Is there any fish that eat Hydra but don't usually eat shrimp or shrimplets? I know ottos don't eat shrimp but I don't know if they eat Hydra. Would Corys work for shrimp and Hydra? Maybe hungry smaller fish that swim in mid column that may randomly decide to snack on them. @Guppysnail do any of your fishies eat hydra? I have *luckily* no experience with hydra, but I have enough experience with cories to tell that I can't imagine them swimming to take down a hydra and eat it tbh. I usually just leave it alone. Once the fry are out of needed daily live bbs and fine powder it cysts up on its own bi do a good vacuum and that’s that’s until the next batch of fry.
Beardedbillygoat1975
I had good success with white cloud mountain minnows as hydra control.
