Water chemistry help 😞🙏

Ok I’m stumped w my aquarium chemistry😞. 
 

Ten gallon aquarium 

My tap is 
0 GH 
40 KH ppm
6.2-6.4 PH

My aquarium is 
125 GH ppm
125 KH ppm
6.8-7 PH

I’ve added Equilibrium to bring the tap GH up for plants. 

I also add Easy Green to keep nitrates between 20-30. 

The substrate is Imagitarium sand, some fake rocks, and live plants. 

I’m just trying to figure out what from this equation is raising the KH and PH🤔🤔🤔

Any ideas⁉️⁉️⁉️

The pH change could just be as a result of off gassing.  It's fairly common for water pH to change after being exposed to air for a few hours.

I don't know about the kh.  Does the Equilibrium affect it also?

True. It doesn’t change at all in my quarantine tanks though 🤔

 Not sure about Equilibrium and KH.

Equilibrium does not affect ph and kh. Only gh.

You may have a stone or something in your tank that keeps increasing ph and kh. Do you have any stones, or what's your substrate? Idk what fake rock is. Are you sure your sand is inert?

Do you have any shells or cuttle bone etc? 

Also do you top off your water? If so, topping with tap may be leading to kh accumilating too I believe

Fake rock is something like this, usually made out of resin.

No, nothing of the sort that you mentioned. 
 

I’m assuming the Imagitarium sand from Petco is inert 🤔

I do top off only mostly.

Seiryu stone affect kh and ph too if that's what you have

It’s probably resin as well. I don’t see it as something that would affect parameters.
